One Day Closer Travel is the perfect intersection of two of my deepest passions: 1) curating personalized and unique experiences for others, and 2) exploring new destinations and cultures through travel.

Prior to my travel career, I spent 10+ years in “Corporate America,” specializing in talent acquisition operations and ultimately employee experience. Outside of work, I would often find myself poring over the details of my family’s upcoming travels and sharing travel tips with others. And while my 9-to-5 proved rewarding, it was hard to ignore the tugging at my heart… Shortly following my departure from a well-known Fortune 500 company, I decided to go all in and One Day Closer Travel was established!

mean to me?

Some of the best moments in life are those to which we can countdown — our wedding date, the birth of a new baby, a bucket-list vacation. It’s in the countdown that excitement lives and increases as the highly anticipated date approaches. By allowing our team to manage your travel details, you’ll be free to focus on the excitement — “One day closer to my trip!“

For me, there’s a much more personal countdown that weaves its way through each of my days. In August 2017, my younger sister and best friend, Hannah, unexpectedly passed away. And while her spirit, life and legacy remain alive in all who knew and loved her, it is through my faith that I find peace in knowing I will see her once again. On this side of Heaven, I’ll just be counting down the days — “One day closer until I see you again.”
